History: The region now occupied by Quintana Roo was one of the most populated of the ancient Mayan Empire. Economy: Fishing
















With 865 km, only seven municipalities have coast, practicing river fishing. Is low due to lack of organization for the acceptance of modern techniques of fishing, for these reasons, promoted modern art capture, organization and marketing of the product.
